It’s hot here in Paris- Summer, bless her cotton socks, is here finally! I love iced coffee in Summer, but to stay hydrated I’ve opted for Ayurvedic Roast for the same flavour but with health benefits!
Here’s how you do it:
Brew a cup of Ayurvedic roast concentrate, let it cool
Add a dash of coconut water, I used Vaivai
A dash of coconut milk
Ice blocks
Stir and serve!
Il fait chaud à Paris maintenant, mais je ne vais pas me plaindre- j’adore l’été etant australienne! En été je bois du café glacé mais pour ne pas boire trop de café j’utilise ce substitut qui a le même goût que le vrai café! En plus c’est super pour la santé!
Comment faire:
Faites une tasse de café fort avec Ayurvedic roast, laisse refroidir
rajoutez un peu d’eau de noix de coco- j’utilise Vaivai
rajoutez un peu de lait de noix de coco
mettez des glacons, et puis voilà!

After going for a 90 minute power walk this morning I needed a nice fresh salad for lunch. I made it with quinoa and prawns, Indian herbs, lettuce, lambs lettuce and tomato. My friend added pineapple to hers. There’s nothing better than an iced coffee on a hot day- I’m taking it easy today!
Après avoir fait 90 minutes de “power walking” ce matin j’avais besoin d’une salade bien fraiche! Je l’ai faite avec du quinoa, crevettes, des herbes indiennes, la laitue,de la mâche et des tomates cerises. Mon amie a rajouté des ananas dans sa salade à elle. Il n’y a rien de mieux qu’un café glacé quand il fait chaud- aujourd’hui je me régale!
Yesterday I was spoiled by Stephanie from Artfully Adored when she came to my apartment for coffee and macarons (that she kindly brought me from the one and only Ladurée). I made my signature coffee with coffee from Kerela, India. We talked India, Cleopatra’s Bling, Paris and life abroad. She will soon be featuring Cleopatra’s Bling on her blog.

I’m sure you may have noticed that I like India… (Oh you haven’t? Click here). So what did I do? I went and found an epic Indian supermarket here in Paris, got mighty nostalgic, bought lots of ginger and ocra to make myself feel good then went home and fried it all up. I think we can conclude that I should just move to India, would make things a lot easier.

A home is so very important. I am such a home-unit, and love to nest. Here is a little peek inside where I spend lots of my days. In Winter, I love sitting on the couch with a pot of chai and reading and in Summer with all the windows open I burn incense and have bright bunches of flowers.
I also shot the look book for my creations, Cleopatra’s Bling in the apartment.

May in France is full of public holidays. We were lucky enough to have two lined up on Wednesday and Thursday meaning most companies were closed on Friday. Lucky me, I had a 5 day weekend. I got so much relaxing done… something I had been needing for a long time.
Long, lazy breakfasts.
Reading.
Thinking about my next adventure destination. And starting a fund.
